It seems contradictory to offer free breakfasts, which are are a very friendly touch and then nickel and dime customers on parking, which does not engender positive feelings about the hotel.

The hotel was clean and neat. The staff was friendly. Their "hello, how are you?" was genuine not some rote phrase that they had to say. The only negative was having to pay for parking. Raise the rates and make parking free. I also liked the ease of paying a tip through the phone.

The new parking registration took longer than hotel signin. This makes this hotel unacceptable even though I have used Hampton for over 40 years.

Property Description
The Hampton Inn & Suites San Diego Poway is a brand new hotel located just minutes north of Downtown San Diego with convenient access to all the great attractions San Diego has to offer. Here you can enjoy local vineyards, great golf courses and the beauty of nature. Guests receive a wide range of services and amenities such as free internet access, complimentary hot breakfast buffet and laundry on site.All of our spacious guest rooms are complete with a microwave, mini refrigerator, coffeemaker, iron/ironing board, work desk and 32 inch flat-screen TV. Relax in our outdoor pool and jacuzzi after exercising in our fitness center. For those traveling for business, our hotel has a fully equipped business center with copy and fax services, as well as 4 meeting rooms with 3,000 sq ft total space.
